Festival Chorale Oregon is a 100-member chorus of professional and amateur singers presenting a wide variety of masterworks accompanied by symphonic orchestra. Festival Chorale Oregon is honored to have been performing under the direction of our founding director, Dr. Solveig Holmquist, for over 30 seasons.

In addition to performing three concerts a year in the Salem, Oregon area, the choir has toured Europe five times and hosted several international touring choirs.  And the Chorale has been invited to sing several times in Carnegie Hall in New York City.  In May 2010 the choir joined Dr. Holmquist in Carnegie Hall in New York City for a performance of Carmina Burana. FCO’s next New York performance is scheduled for June 2013, when Dr. Holmquist conducts John Rutter’s Magnificat in Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
